In addition had a couple of red snapper around 25 lbs. and some 5-7 lb. yelloweye snapper that trip. Sad part, thanks to the NMFS botched science and regulations, we had to throw it back! Sorry about the foul language.

The best fishing boat on the planet.
Nice snapper
That's a Lemon Shark!!
I've never seen gloves needed so badly
Are there Anglerfish at this depth?
debate does it make a difference if you tie a leader line to your main line and rig, or just your main line to your rig

Awesome footage, you stole my idea....
What houseing is this

I finally got to see a tilefish den!very cool. I've heard they will colonize in 20-30 holes at one time
Thanks for sharing I didn't believe a "deepwater housing" could withstand such pressure.
Hah the tilefish ate the weight in the begining!
hey i was there thats me on the starboard gunnel
AWESOME FOOTAGE THANKS !
Great video! Can you tell me when you saw this whale shark? We may be able to identify and track it over at whaleshark . org. Thank you!
Guessing you didn't feel the fish hit the weight on the first drop? Is there any feeling bites at that depth or are you just waiting for the fish to load the rod?
Wow! Great view of how the tile fish act! Great way to learn how the fish act!
What is that noise?
nolin pop Vibration of the fishing line
Obviously photoshopped LOL, there are no red snappers in the S Atlantic. Cool video!!! Good job What housing?
So cool!
Awesome! see you in august!!!!
Yuri - Great job! I commented on your other Golden Tilefish deepdrop video too. Both clips were very revealing of Golden Tilefish predatory behavior. Thank you for your effort. Mark / Catch-All Pres., 100 Fathom Fishing Club
Yuri - Brilliant idea! You deserve an enormouse amount of praise for conceiving this project and putting it together for your fellow recreational fishermen! Both of your Golden Tilefish videos show the beauty of these predators as well as their strength and fierce tenacity. Mark / Catch-All Pres., 100 Fathom Fishing Club
As you can see in the video, the boga grip has a weight scale right on it, + there are 6 witneses on board. I have been doing this way too long to try and exagurate any fish weight or my ego. That fish was 29 lbs. on the boga, no more, no less. Thanks for playing.
that red was not even 20 lb pounds I cought 0ne way biger then that and it was only 21 lbs. I had a mutton bigger than that check my video you will see them, still a nice fish but is a fishing story your saying by purring a 29 lb mark on him.
Thats not a bull shark idiot
Are those fishing rods made from stainless steel? How the heck do you fish a bigass shark with a fishing rod? Looked a bit slender for a bull shark.
